Level of Acceptance and Use of Virtual Reality Among SPRL Students
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this quantitative research, opinions, acceptance, and obstacles related to the implementation of virtual reality among SPRL students were explored. A questionnaire was administered to 120 students to examine their level of familiarity, experience, perceived benefits, drawbacks, and willingness to use virtual reality. The data revealed a disparity in access, with 22.5% of students lacking prior experience. Obstacles included a lack of devices, limited internet connection, and a lack of qualified personnel. However, despite these limitations, there was a high level of interest in using virtual reality more frequently for learning activities, and students appreciated the experiences in technological learning environments for practical work. In summary, virtual reality represented an important opportunity to modernize technical training at the SPRL, provided that the institutional obstacles hindering its effective implementation were resolved.
