Abstract
In the educational panorama, a light emerges that guides the path towards inclusion, here technology relates to the personalization of learning, focused on students with visual disabilities in higher basic education. The objective was to explore the various tools used in digital Braille devices, such as screen readers, which allow these students to actively participate in their learning process. The methodology was based on an exhaustive review of the literature, in addition to quantitative research, focused on the analysis of data collected through questionnaires applied to students and teachers. The results underline the positive impact of adaptive technologies on academic performance, although challenges are also identified, such as limited access to technological resources and lack of teacher training. Despite these difficulties, the integration of Information and Communication Technologies is essential to achieve an inclusive and equitable education. In conclusion, a call to action is made to continue building an educational system where barriers are overcome, and all students can reach their full potential.
