It sought to identify innovative teaching practices, develop a theoretical framework on educational innovation and propose recommendations to improve this process. His approach was descriptive-exploratory and used a grounded theory approach. Interviews were conducted with the director of the institution; surveys were applied to teachers and theoretical information was collected through observation in the classroom. The results showed the influence of the family environment on student learning, as well as the use of innovative pedagogical strategies and the assessment of information and communication technologies (ICT) by teachers.
