Abstract

The increasing digitalization of business environments has heightened the need for agile decision-making processes capable of responding rapidly, accurately, and flexibly to changing conditions. This study analyzes the key factors that influence agile decision-making within digital organizations and proposes a conceptual model of adaptive organizational structures that enhances autonomy, collaboration, and the strategic use of data. The research adopts a qualitative–descriptive approach based on a systematic review of scientific literature published between 2018 and 2025. Results indicate that agility is not only related to speed but also to a set of dynamic capabilities, including decentralization, self-managed teams, process digitalization, technological integration, and continuous learning. The study concludes that adaptive structures are essential for building resilient, innovative, and competitive organizations in digital environments characterized by high volatility and uncertainty.
