Within a maximum period of 30 days, from the receipt of the document, the corresponding author will receive a notification, indicating in advance whether it is accepted or rejected for arbitration by the scientific reviewers. In the event that the article presents formal deficiencies, does not address the educational issue, or has a high percentage of similarity with other document(s), the Editorial Board will reject the work without the option of returning it. On the contrary, if it presents superficial deficiencies in form, it will be returned to the author for correction before beginning the evaluation process. The date of receipt of the article will not compute until the correct reception of the same.

The articles will be scientifically evaluated by an average of three experts on the subject. Reports will indicate the following recommendations: Accept Submission, Publishable with Changes, Resubmit for Review, Not Publishable. From the analysis of the external reports, the acceptance or rejection of the articles for publication will be decided. In the case of discrepant results, a new opinion will be sent, which will be final. The protocol used by the reviewers is public (Research; Studies and literature reviews).

In general, once the external scientific reviews have been seen, the criteria that justify the decision on the acceptance/rejection of the works by the Editorial Board are the following:

• Up-to-date and novelty.
• Relevance and significance: advancement of scientific knowledge.
• Reliability and scientific validity: proven methodological quality.
• Organization (logical coherence and formal presentation).
• External support and public/private financing.
• Co-authorship and degree of internationalization of the proposal and the team.
• Presentation: good writing.

As a measure of transparency, the Editorial Team page contains the complete list of reviewers, which is updated annually.
