Abstract

Indeed, the analysis of the management manual of the supplier evaluation and qualification procedures of the entity called CIVIL-ART S.A. reveals the insufficiency of the products in terms of required quality. In this context, the need to focus the study on the interaction between the purchasing process and the evaluation of suppliers arises, with the general objective of conceiving a management manual that covers the procedures concerning the acquisition of goods and services, as well as as well as the evaluation and qualification of suppliers in the organizational framework of the company. Therefore, it is imperative that the organization precisely defines its management processes, recognizing the importance of establishing and maintaining a broad portfolio of suppliers that includes both long-standing suppliers and new suppliers. Furthermore, it is of utmost importance that specific processes are established in the field of purchases, guaranteeing the determination of competitive prices. Likewise, it is crucial that the entity in question specify its processes related to the acquisition of goods and services, establishing clear guidelines regarding delivery time and product quality, in order to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of its supply chain.
