Abstract

Within the framework of the research, an exhaustive analysis has been carried out focused on the "Application of Reverse Logistics in Waste Management in the Nutrafarm Company, located in Santo Domingo." The fundamental purpose of this research is to present an effective solution to address the problem of waste generated by the packaging of Procan sleeves, a merchandise sold by the company Nutrafarm. This situation is aggravated by the inadequate disposal of said waste, which has a negative impact on the public perception of the company and its corporate image. The collection of information was carried out through an in-depth interview with the company manager and a survey directed at the workers who are part of the Nutrafarm workforce. After collecting the data and subsequent tabulation of the results, a thorough and detailed analysis of the existing problems in the company was carried out. Based on the data obtained and the information investigated, the development and application of a waste management manual is proposed. The purpose of this manual is to provide clear and effective guidelines for the proper treatment of waste from Procan covers, whose current management does not comply with environmentally responsible standards. The application of this manual will not only contribute to the resolution of the waste problem, but will also strengthen the position of the Nutrafarm company in terms of sustainability and commitment to environmental protection.
