Abstract

This research study aimed to examine in depth the management factors related to inventories and their impact on the product dispatch process in a Disproconm company, which often results in delays in delivery and distribution, with negative consequences for operational profitability. To address this problem, a mixed methodological approach was used that combined elements of descriptive research. Within the framework of this investigation, surveys were carried out among the employees of the company Disproconm, and an exhaustive observation sheet of the inventory and dispatch processes was made. Disproconm's active participation in this process provided crucial and accurate information that allowed us to identify areas for improvement in both inventory management and the dispatch process. These findings led to significant improvements in operational efficiency, which, in turn, resulted in a tangible increase in operational profitability. This study shed light on the critical importance of effective inventory management in business operations and how a thorough evaluation of these factors can have a direct impact on the timely delivery and distribution of products. The results underline the relevance of collaboration between workers and top management in the identification and resolution of problems related to the supply chain, which can lead to sustainable improvements in the profitability and competitiveness of the company in question.
