Analysis of the linking process and its impact on the document management of the Tsa `chila Institute Análisis del proceso de vinculación y su impacto en la gestión documental del Instituto Tsa `chila

Abstract

In this research study, an analysis of document management was carried out in the linking processes of the Tsa`chila Higher Technological Institute. A mixed approach was used, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the current situation of the institution. To collect data, instruments such as observation sheets and interviews were used. The results revealed that document management in the institution suffered from significant problems, since there was no adequate storage system, which resulted in a mainly empirical approach. One of the main problems identified was the lack of essential materials such as shelves and filing cabinets. In order to address this situation, the central purpose of this study was to develop a design manual that would improve document management. The plan was to implement a digital storage system along with technological filing cabinets, which would eliminate the need to maintain physical filing cabinets. The adoption of this strategy would not only free up space, but would also contribute to cleanliness, order and discipline in the handling of documentation at the Tsa`chila Higher Technological Institute.
