Abstract

This research work focuses on storage in a company, it is an essential process that encompasses the placement, maintenance, control, completion, evidence and delivery of reserves, with the objective of efficiently managing inventory. The warehouse plays a fundamental role in providing a constant supply of raw materials and means of production, guaranteeing the provision of services in a constant and balanced manner. This research is based on a mixed approach, meaning that you will collect, analyze and link both qualitative and quantitative data in the same study. To improve inventory control and efficiency in the warehouse, it is suggested to implement an action plan that includes continuous training of employees, promoting teamwork between the areas involved, reviewing the warehouse distribution and implementing of a product movement registration system. Proper coding and classification of merchandise, as well as identification of damaged and obsolete products, are additional measures that will contribute to more effective inventory management. Finally, it is essential that the TRANSCASH company focuses on solving the problems identified, including lack of storage space, inadequate disposition of products and insufficient training of personnel. The implementation of a new control system and the optimization of logistics operations will benefit the profitability and overall operation of the company.
