Abstract

The purpose of this research is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of the EMPROMAQ company, with a specific focus on the identification and evaluation of variables related to the cost of storage and its impact on the organization's sales. It should be noted that this study is based on a mixed methodological approach that combines qualitative and quantitative elements, supported by exploratory research of a descriptive nature. The population of interest in this study is made up of a total of six individuals, from which a sample composed of five people was selected who provided accurate and truthful information in the data collection process. To achieve a complete understanding of the deficiency in the company's storage area, multiple research techniques were used, including observation, application of surveys and interviews. Once the results of the research were obtained, a proposal was developed to improve the aspects related to storage in the EMPROMAQ company. The primary objective of this proposal is to provide concrete and viable recommendations that allow the company to optimize its practices and processes in the storage area, with the aim of improving its operational efficiency and, ultimately, its business performance.
