Abstract
Assertive communication is essential for children's optimal development, rooted in creating an environment where trust and freedom of expression reign. In this context, the purpose was raised to investigate the impact of puppet dramatization on the promotion of assertive communication in the students of the “9 De Octubre” Educational Unit. A quantitative approach with an exploratory scope was chosen, using a field research design and an inductive method. Data collection was carried out through surveys and interviews. The results revealed that, despite being a recognized strategy, puppet dramatization was underused by teachers and parents. However, its constant theoretical and practical application demonstrated multiple benefits in promoting assertive communication and the socio-affective development of children.
