Abstract
The scientific article addresses the problem of integrating technology and gamification in language teaching to children aged 4 to 5 years. The objective of the research was to evaluate the perception and practice of parents and an educator in relation to the use of electronic devices and gamification strategies for the development of children's language. To address this issue, surveys were conducted with the parents of parallel "B" of the Initial 2 group and with the educator who works with these children. The survey indicators focused on the frequency of use of electronic devices, the perception of the importance of technology in education, and the practice of gamification. The results revealed a gap between perception and practice, where both parents and educators recognize the importance of technology and gamification, but do not always apply it consistently. This discrepancy underscored the need to provide support and training to align vision with action. Despite these gaps, the results also highlighted the potential benefit of technology and gamification in children's language development, especially in improving oral expression.
