Abstract

The research focused on analyzing family safety measures related to social violence in children from 3 to 4 years of age. A mixed approach methodology with a descriptive scope was used, which allowed a rigorous documentary analysis. Data covering various security measures, their types and essential function in the family environment were collected. The sample group was made up of an educator and 25 children from Initial level I. The evaluation was based on a survey applied to the parents of the children, with the objective of evaluating their degree of knowledge about family safety measures and the strategies they implement. to counteract social violence in the family and social environment. The results indicate that a significant 75% have a solid knowledge about family safety measures. This reveals a highly beneficial and crucial aspect to prevent and mitigate social violence in children. As part of the intervention, recreational activities were carried out through the use of the recreational traffic light. This activity proved to be effective in preventing social violence among children. In addition to the acquisition of knowledge on the identification and prevention of situations of social violence, the intervention strengthened communication skills and positive parenting, fostering affective and respectful bonds with children. In summary, the research highlights that the implementation of the playful traffic light is configured as a valuable tool to prevent social violence in children. The results emphasize the acquisition of practical knowledge and socio-emotional skills, underlining the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment during childhood.
