Abstract
This study focused on the importance of phonological pronunciation in the development of language in children, highlighting how mastery of the orofacial organs for the pronunciation of phonemes is essential in the development of linguistic skills in the first years of life. It is mentioned that the difficulties in the articulation and pronunciation of the language can affect the teaching-learning process if they are not addressed in time. The main objective of the project was to identify orofacial games that could be used as a support strategy to stimulate oral language in children. It was based on a mixed methodological approach, with a descriptive and documentary scope. Information was collected through direct comparison sheets to a non-probabilistic sample of 36 boys and girls and the educator. As a result, it was concluded that the stimulation of the orofacial organs through exercises that favor the articulation of phonemes is essential to improve the development of oral language. These practices can increase the effectiveness of activities aimed at improving oral language in children. Overall, the study highlights the importance of focusing on early oral language stimulation and provides evidence supporting the efficacy of orofacial games in achieving this goal.
