Abstract

Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) has become one of the most significant pedagogical approaches in language education, prioritizing fluency, accuracy, and authentic communication over traditional grammar-focused instruction. This study examines the impact of CLT in language classrooms through a mixed-methods approach involving pre-and post-tests, classroom observations, and interviews with students. The primary objective was to evaluate whether CLT enhances students' communicative competence and reduces language anxiety. The findings reveal substantial improvements in students' ability to communicate effectively and accurately, highlighting the efficacy of this approach in fostering meaningful language use.
