Motivation plays a pivotal role in the process of language acquisition, influencing learners' engagement, perseverance, and overall success in mastering a second or foreign language. This research paper examines the multifaceted nature of motivation within language learning, drawing on a range of studies that highlight key motivational theories and strategies. By exploring both intrinsic and extrinsic factors, the research reveals how motivation interacts with variables such as anxiety, self-efficacy, and classroom dynamics.
