Abstract
The objective of this research was to analyze the distribution and its effect on the sales of the VIALUM company. Although the distribution area had a complete system, certain inconveniences that affected sales were identified. A mixed approach research methodology was used, collecting qualitative and quantitative information through exploratory and descriptive research. The identified population consisted of 40 people, from which a sample of 9 individuals was selected who met the necessary parameters for the application of data collection techniques and instruments, such as observation, interviews with open-ended questionnaires and surveys with questionnaires. of closed questions. The results obtained were analyzed using an evaluation and analysis matrix, revealing that unfavorable factors were predominant. In addition, a matrix of indicators was used highlighting the Pearson correlation coefficient, which turned out to be -0.21. This indicated that the relationship between distribution costs and sales was moderate to low, and inverse in nature: as one of the variables increased, the other decreased.
