Initiation to pre-writing at an early age through homemade blackboards Iniciación a la preescritura en edades tempranas a través de pizarras caseras

Abstract
The study is framed within the framework of pre-writing and the importance of the use of didactic materials to promote it from an early age, namely home-made blackboards. We worked with a sample of 12 children from the CNH Santa Rosa de Lima programmer in the canton of Portoviejo, Ecuador, using a mixed methodology, an interview with an expert and structured observation at two different times, one at the beginning of the year of work and the other after 5 months, the form designed was in accordance with an area of the current Early Education Curriculum, The results were very little activity on the part of the infants at the beginning and at the end, a favorable response to the home-made slates that allowed them to trace, scribble and erase; There was also a low level of visual-motor coordination when manipulating objects at the beginning of the intervention, and 92% of the children were able to do so. Concluding on the importance of using materials that promote motor skills, visual-spatial, creative, movements and positions, and the development of visual-motor coordination, which are fundamental for the initiation to pre-writing.
