Abstract
The objective of the study was to apply the psycho-pedagogical intervention based on the ABC dyslexia program to improve the reading and writing skills of a third grade student of the Escuela de Educación Básica 18 de Noviembre, 2023. The research was developed under the qualitative approach, descriptive cross-sectional type, allowing to understand and describe the lived experiences of the student in the educational environment, with a phenomenological paradigm and as a method a single case study, a third grade student. The data collection techniques were the psycho-pedagogical record and the record sheet; the Spanish Reading and Writing Test (LEE) was used as an instrument. The results of the LEE test showed that the student has difficulty in reading words, pseudowords, comprehension of words and phrases, prosody, text comprehension and writing of words and pseudowords; the intervention was carried out in 5 weeks, implementing 26 sessions in total of the four modules B/D/T/T/P; through the post-test the improvement of reading and writing after the intervention through the ABC dyslexia program is evidenced, going from a range of with difficulty to a range of competent. From the data presented, it is concluded that the psycho-pedagogical intervention based on the ABC dyslexia program allowed to obtain positive advances in the improvement of the reading and writing process.
