Abstract
The research seeks to examine the impact of the virtual modality on radiology university students, based on the perception of professionals who supervise their skills and knowledge in hospital environments.. This article aims to know how virtual education has affected and the challenges generated in the comprehensive training of clinical and practical skills. The perception of the virtual model is explored with a mixed methodology that combines analysis from other authors and a survey of radiology graduates who have interacted with students in hospital centers. The data obtained allowed us to evaluate the performance and current condition of the students. The results have shown that virtual learning has been ineffective in theoretical teaching, negatively affecting the development of practical skills. Concluding that there are significant limitations in learning, it is clear that virtual education has not guaranteed the development of theoretical or practical knowledge, which shows us the importance of the face-to-face modality where hospital practices are prioritized.
