Abstract
The social and economic impact of local tourism and its development from the construction of the first order of the 14.5 km road section, located in the Río Verde Parish in the Duragas sector, La Y de San Gabriel, Julio Moreno - The Pyramid of the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas called Via Aventura, framed in the guidelines of the planning from the State and underpinned by the Provincial Decentralized Autonomous Government of the locality in terms of impulse and road growth, strategic planning and public investment in rurality, allows us to analyze the impact on tourism that has generated the construction of this emblematic work, with a qualitative approach through the compilation of documentary information and field research using a data collection technique with the application of interviews to the main social actors evidencing the positive impact that the economic and social tourism for both tour operators, as for those who develop complementary activities, as well as users and residents of the sector contributing in general to the economic and tourist growth of this geographical area located around the Via Aventura.
